Our Mission: At A Mother's Touch Foundation, we are committed to ensuring that no young woman misses school or feels ashamed due to a lack of access to basic hygiene products. In 2025, our goal is to raise funds to provide biodegradable sanitary pads, bras, underwear, and other essential hygiene products to young women in underserved communities, particularly in rural areas of West Africa.
Why This Matters: Many young girls in these communities face severe challenges:
Without access to proper sanitary pads, some girls are forced to use reusable cloths, while others go without, often causing them to miss school during their periods.
A lack of hygiene products not only impacts their education but also their dignity and health.
By providing biodegradable sanitary pads, we aim to offer a more sustainable solution that is safe for both the girls and the environment.
Our 2025 Goal: We aim to raise enough funds to purchase and distribute:
Biodegradable sanitary pads that are safe for the environment and can be easily disposed of in areas with limited waste management systems.
Bras and underwear to give young women the essentials they need to feel comfortable and confident.
Self-care hygiene kits filled with personal care products to ensure these young women can manage their hygiene with dignity.
