As we wrap up Women’s History Month, I’d like to congratulate the gorgeous Queen Etta Juah for bringing together an amazing group of women to discuss Women Empowerment and share what was on our hearts. The program was meant to promote and raise funds for her nonprofit A Mother's Touch Foundation.
A few takeaways from the event:
1. When women unite and embrace their authentic selves, powerful conversations and transformations happen.
2. Although women are beautiful on the outside, it’s important that we peel back our layers and heal the pain we carry within. True healing starts now.
3. We Are Our Sisters’ Keepers
Supporting one another must be intentional! Whether we are celebrating each other’s milestones, helping each other reach a goal, listening or simply sharing an encouraging smile, let’s make a deliberate effort to lift each other up.
4. Celebrating Others Doesn’t Diminish You
Another woman’s success takes nothing away from our own. Instead, let her accomplishments inspire us to pursue our next milestone.
5. The Joy of Womanhood
I love being a woman, and if I had to choose again, I’d pick womanhood every time.
